"As an oncology pharmacy professional, I am thrilled to see the establishment of the Philippine Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Society (POPPS). For years, we've worked individually to elevate the practice of oncology pharmacy in the Philippines, but now, we have a dedicated community that brings us together to share knowledge, grow professionally, and advocate for the betterment of cancer care. This society offers a beacon of hope for all of us in the field, providing the tools and support needed to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. POPPS represents a new era for specialized pharmacy practice in the Philippines, and I am proud to be a part of this movement."

“As a pharmacist deeply committed to Medication Safety and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, I see the formation of the Philippine Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Society (POPPS) as a transformative milestone for our profession. POPPS unites us under a shared vision—to elevate oncology pharmacy practice through collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care. It provides a platform where expertise meets purpose, empowering pharmacists to champion the safe and judicious use of medications while contributing meaningfully to improved cancer treatment outcomes. I am proud to stand with this community that strives to make every dose safer and every patient journey better.” — Anna Andrea S. Sabado, RPh, CPh

As a specialty pharmacist handling cancer medicines, I have seen how essential it is to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care to every patient undergoing treatment. Being part of the Philippine Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Society inspires me to continue advancing my knowledge and strengthening my role in ensuring that each therapy is managed with the highest standards. Through this community, I am reminded of the value of collaboration, continuous learning, and genuine commitment to improving the lives of cancer patients.

- Jane Maryele R. Santiago, RPh, CIP

I am grateful to have joined the Oncology Rx Training last June 21–23, 2025. As a dispensing pharmacist handling oncology medicines, the lectures, hands-on compounding, and return demonstrations greatly improved my knowledge and skills. The training was challenging but very fulfilling, and it strengthened my commitment to providing safe and quality care to cancer patients. I also appreciate the instructors for their guidance and dedication throughout the program.
